Samba Band - Raizes do Samba

Our professional Samba band Raizes do Samba is a top class highly experienced, authentic samba band. Led by Xavier, a renowned singer, percussionist, composer & recording artist, they offer a great blend of vocals, percussion (Surdo, Caixa, Repinique, Pandeiro) and Brazilian guitar (Cavaquinho) that is the truly authentic sound of Brazilian Samba.

The band can be configured as a quartet, a sextet or an octet and the sets are tailored to suit each event. The music they play appeals to a very wide audience & gives a great South American atmosphere. The band are pictured in the photographs at the end of this page. They are the perfect choice for your Brazilian themed event.
